Stigma Busting Stroll - October 8th, 2011. Come join us.

This year's Stigma Busting Stroll will be held on October 8, 2011 at 10 AM at Harmon Park in Lebanon. The Kickoff Lunch for this event will be August 26 at Workforce One, 300 E. Silver St., Lebanon. Contact the NAMI Warren County Office at 695-3650 if you would like to receive an invitation or to volunteer for the Lunch or the Stroll.

Thanks to all who participated and walked in NAMI Warren County's Second Annual Fundraising Walk -- the Stigma Busting Stroll-- on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Harmon Park in Lebanon. We raised almost $8000 for education, support, and advocacy for people and families affected by mental illnesses. Thanks to all walkers and supporters especially LCNB, Minuteman Press, Local 12 WKRC, The Dadas Family, The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Senour-Flaherty Insurance, The Medicine Shoppe, Skyline Chili-Middletown, Destiny Hospice, Ghent Manufacturing, Krogers, Meijer's Wal-mart, GFS Marketplace, Starbucks, Always Best Care of NE Cincinnati, and Home Instead Senior Care.

Executive Director Retiring

Rosalyn Dadas, Executive Director since 2008, will be retiring at the end of October. A new Executive Director is expected to be announced in October.

NAMI Warren County Executive Director Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and some experience in non-profit management and/or NAMI leadership; MUST be familiar with NAMI’s mission and culture and the mental health community; familiarity with Warren County and its institutions a plus.

Half-time salaried position with flexible hours requiring a minimum of 20 hours/week but must be available during normal business hours and occasional evenings and weekends.
