Lebanon, OH—NAMI Warren County welcomes Sgt. Jeff Mitchell of the Lebanon Police Department to its board. Sgt. Mitchell is a detective and has been in law enforcement for many years. He is a resident of Lebanon.
NAMI Warren County is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), a grassroots organization headquartered in Arlington, VA. NAMI is dedicated to education, support, and advocacy for people and families affected by a serious, chronic mental illness like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, and other mental illnesses. NAMI Warren County sponsors a monthly educational meeting open to the public, a monthly support group, and a 12 week educational course to help family members better understand mental illness.
