Family-to-Family Class Begins Aug. 19

The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program is a 12-week course for families of individuals with severe brain disorders (mental illnesses).

Materials are presented by two trained volunteers.

Topics include:
  • Depression (unipolar and bipolar)
  • Anxiety Disorder,
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,
  • Schizophrenia.
  • Medications and therapy
  • Problem solving, communication techniques, and empathy
  • Self care, advocacy, and recovery.

Classes meet weekly beginning Tuesday, August 19 for 12 weeks
